Annie Cardone is a published author and an expert in menopausal mental health, self-care, and women's empowerment worldwide. She is also a mental health teacher trainer, entrepreneur, and life coach.
As a survivor of childhood domestic violence, Annie has dedicated over 20 years to helping women expand their beliefs about what is possible in their lives, particularly in overcoming limiting self-beliefs, insecurity, and mental health challenges.
Through her podcast, *No Filter Needed*, Annie encourages women to recognise that their greatest superpower is being older, wiser, and smarter than ever. In a world that often dismisses women as they age, Annie is leading a movement to challenge this stigma and empower women to embrace the right to be smart, successful, and fabulous at any age.
Annie studied psychology at the University of London in Richmond and has trained as a counsellor internationally. Her volunteer work with Woman Within took her across America in the 1990s, where she coached women to tap into their inner strength and confront anything or anyone holding them back.
Having experienced the personal challenges of menopause and mental health struggles, Annie shares her proven strategies for making a remarkable comeback. She now lives a more powerful life than before and aims to leave a legacy through her writing that will benefit women for years to come.
At the core of all her work is a simple belief: women are entitled to want more, trust themselves, and celebrate the process of ageing, using it as their superpower. We can create the lives we desire and enjoy the advantages of being older, as our minds, emotions, intuition, and predictive abilities are remarkable later in life. It's time to stop viewing ageing as something negative and start celebrating the incredible journey of becoming who we truly are—knowing what we want and pursuing it.
Anyone can turn their life around and discover the true freedom and happiness that may have eluded them in their younger years.
Annie is living proof that you can overcome a bad start in life and mental health battles, and start over to create the life you wanted all along.
"The past battles did not define me; overcoming them all and teaching others how to do the same became my purpose and my legacy. You are not a victim; you are a survivor and far more powerful than you know."
